Stadium was designed to have a sliding operable roof system, taking into consideration the severe climate of Astana. Again the steel construction and the technical works will be completed by Büro Happold. The Stadium will be able to host 30.000 visitors and is considered not only for football plays, will also be the preferred location for concerts and other exceptional activities. It will become the arena of the entertainment. With its sliding roof system of 10.000 sqm, this project is one of only six all over the world.
